It can be a good thing to use on their body if they can handle it, but coconut oil should only really be used in small amounts.

Try to be considerate about how you look after your dog. You might love coconut oil, but you should absolutely make sure your dog is safe to enjoy it with you. And even if it is safe for your dog to use and/or consume, always do so in major moderation.
